Constant Thickness Film Maker Kit

The constant thickness film maker prepares reproducible thickness polymer films and plastics. The high precision interchangeable spacer rings (15, 25, 50, 100, 250 and 500 micron) produce 29mm diameter films. The accessory provides an overflow trough for excess sample. Samples are easily removed from the polished die film fabricators without the use of contaminating release agents. A cooling chamber also accompanies the accessory. The constant thickness film maker is often used with hydraulic laboratory presses with heating platens.
