Its patent pending Four in One XRF Evacuable Pellet Die permits converting a 40mm die into either a 32mm, 25mm or 20mm die. You no longer have to purchase four different dies when one die is now available to offer convenience and flexibility. Simply using the 40mm chamber, you can fabricate 40mm briquettes or use the appropriate die conversion insert to produce 32mm, 25mm or 20mm pellets. Scroll below to order.

The XRF Conversion Die Four in One design is the most economical concept ever presented to the XRF analytical professional. The 40mm XRF Evacuable Pellet Die is available individually or can be packaged with one or more inserts (specify sizes). Insert conversion kits for 40mm XRF dies can also be purchased separately. All die components are manufactured from hardened 440C Stainless Steel. Tungsten Carbide anvils are available upon request. This popular die is commonly used with our XRF series of laboratory presses. An oil-less vacuum pump is recommended to assist with the production of moisture free briquettes.

- allow 6mm minimum to locate the die plunger into the die chamber in order to follow the die chamber wall.

- the evacuable design feature with the use of an oil-less vacuum pump permits easy installation of anvils and plunger without the vacuum resistance normally associated with non-evacuable dies due to the precision fabrication and tight tolerances to mitigate flashing of the powdered sample matrix during pellet fabrication.
