REFLEX Analytical offers the largest selection of evacuable pellet dies with tungsten carbide anvils. Tungsten carbide anvils are ideal for hard or abrasive powdered sample materials which may tend to mar the surface of stainless steel anvils.

The dies are precision fabricated from high quality hardened 440C stainless steel and tungsten carbide. The hardened 440C stainless steel die assemblies include a main chamber body with an evacuable base for vacuum attachment, (2) o-rings, (2) polished tungsten carbide anvils, a plunger, a sample extraction ring to facilitate sample removal and operating instructions. The evacuable design feature with the use of a small laboratory oil-less vacuum pump permits easy installation of anvils and plunger without the vacuum resistance normally associated with non-evacuable dies.
