Precision manufactured from hardened 440C stainless steel and includes a main 40mm die body, a removable base with a vacuum attachment, 20mm, 25mm and 32mm conversion die kits, each die size with (2) polished anvils, plunger, vacuum o-rings, extractor ring and operating instructions.

Tips
- typically the sample pellet is fabricated between two anvils although one anvil can be used
to fabricate a thicker sample pellet.
- allow 6mm minimum to locate the die plunger into the die chamber in order to follow the die
chamber wall.
- the evacuable design feature with the use of an
oil-less vacuum pump permits easy installation of anvils and plunger without the vacuum resistance normally associated with non-evacuable dies due to the precision fabrication and tight tolerances to mitigate
flashing of the powdered sample matrix during pellet fabrication.
