RoHS Compliant Sealed Liquid Cells
In response to requests offered by the scientific community and contributing to a cleaner environment, REFLEX Analytical proudly and responsibly shares a new development in sealed liquid transmission cell sampling that is RoHS compliant. RoHS also known as Lead-Mercury-Free, stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances. To eliminate the Lead and Mercury amalgam seal normally associated with the older sealed liquid transmission cell designs, the new advanced design uses leak free fluoropolymer seals which are isolated from the liquid sample.
Scroll below for order details. All of the RoHS compliant sealed liquid transmission cells offer a 13mm FTIR circular aperture (as pictured). The Stainless Steel cell consists of a front plate with two luer fittings and PTFE plugs, a back plate, a PTFE pathlength spacer sandwiched between a drilled and undrilled window assembled with fluoropolymer seals. It is recommended to employ two syringes when filing the cell with a liquid sample.
Choose from the following standard pathlengths: 0.015mm, 0.025mm, 0.05mm, 0.10mm, 0.15mm, 0.20mm, 0.50mm, 1.0mm, 5.0mm and 10.0mm. Available transmission window materials include BaF2 Barium Fluoride, CaF2 Calcium Fluoride, Cesium Iodide CsI, KBr Potassium Bromide, KRS-5 Thallium Bromide Iodide, NaCl Sodium Chloride, IR-SiO2 IR Quartz, ZnSe Zinc Selenide and ZnS Zinc Sulfide. If required for quantification, cell calibration and matching is available as an optional service and should be indicated upon ordering.
